Alarm Clock ornament  The first striker alarm clock was used in 10th century China to announce the hours of prayer. During WWII factories were transformed for war efforts. Alarm clocks were one of the first consumer items to resume manufacturing. Clocks were critical for workers to get to work on time to support war efforts.
