Sambro Lighthouse ornament   Sambro Island Lighthouse located at the entrance of Halifax Harbor in Nova Scotia is the oldest surviving lighthouse in all of North America. It was built in 1759 during the Seven Years War and was one of the first acts approved by the Legislative Assembly of Nova Scotia.
